Specifications

1. History
Edelzwicker is the term used to describe any composition of white grape varieties of Alsace AOC, without giving the percentage of each variety.

The grapes can be vinified together or separately. Historically, these different varieties were from the same plot of land. Originally called "Zwicker" (assembly), the prefix "Edel" (noble) was added to mark the presence of noble varieties selected to replace the large volume grape varieties.

2. Taste

This Edelzwicker 2009 is a beautiful pale straw yellow colour, a remarkable clarity with light green reflections. Net and frank, the nose reveals notes of citrus and orange blossom. On the palate, this wine is light and fresh flavoured, endowed with a slightly lemony sweetness as the final taste.

3. Gastronomy

A thirst quenching wine par excellence, it can accompany your cool and pleasant starters such as a salad decorated with fresh salmon.

Can be kept : 5 years
